Hello!
Does anyone know what can generate this message "right sensor missing"?
Occurred with my Vector3 during use. Just the 8th training with my Vector3.
My workout ran out of energy information on my right leg for several minutes (45').
Could you also check the next message / file please, I think this file also have the right pedal drop-out but DURING THE RIDE, didn't notice this before.
I have exactly the same problem which only started after I put in new batteries.
Random right pedal missing warnings
Right PCO randomly reading zero.
I reset the right pedal by removing, waiting and replacing…
I too am facing the same problems. Tried all (new batteries, left/right cap swap, tape over batteries although the black insulators are in place) recommendations mentioned earlier in this thread to no avail. It is bluntly evident that there is a manufacturing (or worst design) defect here guys.
At his point the pedals are unusable and i am unable to train. Never had a single problem with my Rotor Crankset, at this point i am regretting going to Vector 3. Seriously considering requesting a refund.
I provide two FIT files (connect links actually) if anyone wants to verify.

I have contacted garmin support but received no reply after 4 days. Slight disappointment.
Hope to get some sort of response from them here.
I also noticed since it was nighttime that the led of the right pedal was constantly blinking alternating between red/green once per second roughly. The left one was not. Is this normal? happens to anyone else?
Do you have your pedals paired to Garmin Connect Mobile on your phone? If so, delete the connection on the phone, and see if that improves the situation.
If you've got a low battery indication then you should address this before trying any other fixes.
If you are taping the batteries together, then it is important to get the tape to completely cover the cylindrical surface of the batteries including the rounded shoulder.
It may help to apply a small dab of baby oil or other mineral oil to the battery contacts, to help prevent fretting.
The red/green blinking lights is symptomatic of the phone app trying to connect to the right pedal so if you're seeing that, then removing Vector from the Garmin Connect Mobile device list is the best interim solution. This behaviour is being investigated but as yet there is no timeline for when it will be resolved.
