Bluetooth Connection to mobile phone

Can someone explain how to connect the pedals to my phone (GCM). It seems nothing happens when trying to connect. Bluetooth settings does see V3, but GCM does not...?

Anyone else seeing this?

That is not accurate. Garmin is actively working on adding Bluetooth transmission of power data to Vector.

Just got a pretty weird call from Garmin Germany. Bottom line is transmitting Power Data via Bluetooth is NOT planned at all.

Might have to return them then...would be a pretty dumb move by Garmin in my opinion.

I can't understand why you would have gone with them in the first place if Bluetooth not available at this time is a show stopper for you?

Well, because it said Bluetooth compatible in every piece of info I had when ordering. And now I have them it is actually written on the box.

Every review there is was expecting the V3 to be capable of it and they are not.

The show stopper is not that BT power is not abailable now, but the guy telling me it is not planned at all...if it is true after all.

I’d believe Vector Info over the guy on the phone. I suspect Vector info is a lot closer to the design team than Support is.

Probably you're right. As I wrote it was 'weird'. You could clearly hear the guy hated to make a call to an annoying customer. The shop that sold me the pedals wanted to do something good notifying the Garmin Germany office of my issues, but the guy calling me seemed not too amused he had to do that ;-)
