Measurements diapearing from Garmin Connect

So here is what I am observing:

I weigh in on my Garmin Index every morning. If I check Garmin Connect shortly thereafter, it shows all six measurements - weight, body fat, BMI, % water, Muscle Mass, and Bone Mass. Then sometime during the day, all the measurements disappear except for Weight. I have checked Garmin Connect on my PC, Android Phone, and IPad and its the same on all of the, the reset of the measurements are gone.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Dan
• It seems like it works with firmware 8 and GCM 4.3.1.5. An activity is synchronized and all values are still there.
Thanks for the fix.
• Glad to hear it MrProper! To be clear, the changes were on the Garmin Connect server side and don't require a specific app version or device firmware.

It appears the index scales weight and other metrics are now staying in garmin connect. There does still seem to be some issues... as described in this thread until now the index scales recording seemed to be getting overwritten by a weight value that was stored in user settings in garmin connect every time a device synced. While this has stopped occurring, I still see this incorrect weight value being utilised in other areas of garmin connect. For instance under peformance stats my watts per kg ftp is still calculated using the incorrect weight value and if I view my weight in settings/ user setting the incorrect weight value is still being stored
• Nikols1098, happy to hear that all of the weight metrics are now staying in place. We are continuing to make enhancements to the weight data in connect and will be restoring the previous removed data in future releases. In regards to your questions about the performance stats and users setting weights remaining static, I have opened a ticket for further clarification and future enhancement.
• Good evening all. Wow this thread was quite the read. Unfortunately I was reading this thread because literally just 60 minutes ago I (excitedly) opened my brand new index scale and set it up and weighed myself. And unfortunately the only data being reflected in GC is my weight and BMI (hence the reason for finding this forum topic). Garmin-Ben and PZ-Rider from Garmi. - if I am reading your last posts correctly there is nothing I needed to do to update to make this work. I have been using the GC app for about a year (and the web version of GC for many years) now with a VivoactiveHR with no issues. So unfortunately for me whatever “fix” that was made is not working for me.

Now I can see all metrics about for today (yesterday and others days in past only see weight). I have Index Scale and Fenix 5x
• At last !!! Thank you, Garmin.
As off this morning, my data, measured this morning, were recorded and visible in Connect online and GCM as expected!!!
Your back-end fix of last night seems to have done its magic!
I tried to sync my watch, sync MFP, sync an activity from the watch... in all cases, the data remained! THANK YOU...
The missing past data haven't been restored yet, but I remain hopeful.

My Index Smart Scale is smart once again! :)
I look forward to the future improvements and features on the Index Scale (which is great when it is working as expected!).
• HRUN & Happytoon Happy to hear that! The missing data is not gone and we are working aggressively to restore the historical weigh-in data.
• sbooth1440 - yes all of the changes made were back end changes and require no action on your part. If you are still having issues, we would like to discuss further, please email us at [email protected] and we will go from there.
• Thank you so much Garmin. The information stayed on GC yesterday and is still there as well as today's information. Look forward to all past information being added back in for a total picture of how I am doing.
