Hellol!

Garmin Forerunner 935 increases the stress level against Vivoactive 3. I make the test 3 days.
Restart to factory settings, remove apps, send to service. No solution. Garmin Forerunner 935 does not work right.

Do you have the same problem? I'm looking for a solution to the problem... !? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1312844.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1312845.jpg

Garmin have also admitted it is broken .

Well, they said they are looking into it.

And just because "lots of other users" complain, doesn't mean that it doesn't work for the other hundreds of thousand users! (e.g. like myself). Since introduction of Stress level I'm able to reproduce reasonable values across different Firmware versions. Long term stress level as well as real time.

You base your "correct values" on your subjective feelings and complain. But how do you know your not suffering on a medical disposition and it's the other way around, one watch is reading correctly whereas the other not? You can't. Firstbeat Stress level is based on HRV and only an individual ECG could validate your numbers.

One explanation (empiric, observation) I might have though. Those Firtsbeat things work better with big data. Meaning, wearing it 24/7 for a loooong period of time and train a lot :D
  • Same here no obvious changes/aberrations with firmware updates
  • Garmin-Joey are there any updates on the problem? since fw 3.30 i am having high values on my vivoactive 3 as well.

While looking into all that, i noticed, that my watch doesn't sync stress correctly. It shows some blue bars (rest) at times where the app makes them (orange) stress. If you are experiencing same issues, i started a new thread about this. https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into...ced-calculated

Or it means that loads of people can't be asked to complain, because, well, it's Garmin...

So here is my experience: stress is broken since sw v7.xx. Also, barometer is inaccurate/not working since sw v8.00.
  • I finally did a complete factory reset. So far it’s working again. We will see how it holds up.
  • Well, my measured stress right now is 84. I'm sitting at my desk, all zen like a potato.
It's been 80+ for the last hour or so, which I've spent doing not much. Oh well....

Forget Garmin, you should consult a cardiologist then. Just due to the sheer physical existence of your 935 you don't have the legal right for a low stress level when sitting like a potato. Else, do a factory reset.
