Buying the 935 in the Uk

Is there any reason why so few retailers stock the 935 in the UK? Plenty stock all the other FR models, Vivoactives and Fenix models. I am very interested in the 935 for running cycling hiking strength cardio and golf. Seems to fit the bill well.

Maybe yhe Fenix 5 would be better though.
  • I can see the Tri bundle for 600 and the watch for 500. I have paid 420 for the watch from Clever Training.
  • Bought mine from https://www.extrm-sport.co.uk/ who sold me the 935 Multisport bundle for 471 GBP which at the time was much heaper than other retailers - they are currently doing the watch only for 372

Hi JSRUNNER_, I was just wondering about your experiences with the retailer extrm-sport, I’m also thinking of buying a Garmin 935 from them, but can’t find much online, which has me slightly worried.
  • MikeJD Well my experience was very good - at the time they were the best price by a long way and the watch arrived promptly. The watch was obviously packaged for the Israeli market but has multilingual instructions and functions exactly as I would expect. I haven't had any problems so difficult to tell how good their service might be - I think when I originally bought it that I did find feedback about them that was good but unfortunately can't remember where

I think i'll go ahead and give them a chance then, as they still appear to be the best price for the watch. Warranty etc could be an issues with it coming from Israel, but I suppose cross that bridge if it ever comes to it (which hopefully it won't).

I've been waiting for the price of the 935 to drop for ages now, and it just doesn't seem to be happening.

Thanks for getting back to me with your experience!

From wiggle my 935 was purchased using a friend's highest level discount, plus a 10 or 15% black friday style offer. The watch came go around £385 as a result.
you could wait around for such an offer, or use a friend who regularly buys from wiggle and receives loyalty discount.

Quite a few running shops stock them (www.runandbecome.com and www.run4it.com). If you're a member of a club or hold a UK home nations triathlon racing licence then you get 10% discount as well.
