Buying the 935 in the Uk

Is there any reason why so few retailers stock the 935 in the UK? Plenty stock all the other FR models, Vivoactives and Fenix models. I am very interested in the 935 for running cycling hiking strength cardio and golf. Seems to fit the bill well.

Maybe yhe Fenix 5 would be better though.
  • Wiggle had a monopoly on them for a while when they were first released. i bought mine from there.
  • Are you implying you have some issue with those that are selling one?

In addition to Wiggle, my local bike shop (Sigma Sport) is selling them. Quick look further and also available from Amazon & Garmin themselves.

I have probably stated all the places where about 95% of my sports purchases go.

  • Wiggle don?t have any stock. Amazon don?t stock the non Tri bundle. None of the normal retailers I use stock it, John Lewis, Currys etc. Sigma are the only ones with stock apart from Garmin themselves. I wanted to feel and try it on it before buying as its not a cheap watch.

There doesn?t seem much love for the 935 in the UK.
  • Clever Training have it in stock. I think DC Rainmaker does a 10% discount for purchases through them, worth having a look at his website.

The 935 isn't a glorified activity tracker (Vivo-whatevers), or a beginners watch (230-235), or a stylish-watch-that-can (Fenix 5) - it's a fairly specific bit of kit - a top end, lightweight multisport watch, so it's not totally surprising it's not stocked by the high street retailers.

But the Wiggle monopoly was probably the bigger part of the issue.

  • I thought Clever Training was US only - thanks for the tip. They offer ?47 off with the DC Rainmaker code.

Now just need to justify it for all that I do ;) running, cycling, hiking, golf and a little bit of swimming. The battery life, looks and WiFi are also appealing against the cheaper Vivoactive3.
  • OK bit the bullet and ordered one from Clever Training. Lets hope it's as good as all the reviews and you guys say it is ;)
  • The 935 is definitely my favourite Garmin watch thus far and have had all the higher end running/triathlon Forerunner ones since the original 201 back in 2004.

Ironically I am going to Sigma Sport later today as I live fairly near there. That would certainly be one place to "inspect" it prior to a purchasing decision. However I don't think you will be disappointed. Please tell us how you find it in due course.
