Anyone have firmware 3.7 yet

Standard thread but has anyone had the update yet?

My phone sync said it was sending it to my watch but as yet it hasn't.

If you have got it, has it fixed anything?
  • Thanks for the tip, but it doesn't work. Deleted the EPO file, got no GPS fix in about a minute, synced a couple of time to get a new EPO file and tried again: still GPS fix takes ages.
  • The same GPS Issues on my two Forerunners 645 (wife and me) .
Thx for the Tip, but delete the Epo.bin File doesn't help to fix the GPS Problems on both Watches.
  • Deleting the epo.bin file seems to have sped things up for my watch, will see how it behaves over the next few days.

How come there's been zero comment from the Garmin rep on here given so many people have seen this issue after the 3.7 update?
  • If you look on forerunner 935 threads , there are also many problems with slow initial gps fix (2~3min) since the last firmware update. It's seems to be a generic problem with the last firmwares...
Anybody from Garmin could you help us ?
  • I’m having the same issue as everyone else with the GPS coming off and on repetitively. This wasn’t happening prior to 3.70. You can see from my activity that I was not running over the lake. :)

  • I just contacted Garmin support regarding this...
They are fully aware of the GPS issues of version 3.70 and working to get a fix ASAP !
There is no option to downgrade and no workaround for the meanwhile :-(
you can see attached a screen capture of the summary of my chat with them
  • Along with all the GPS issues... anyone feel like the reliability of the bluetooth connection to their phone has decreased significantly on v3.7?

    645M and iPhone X

I haven't had these types of issues since probably May - what was that, version 3.4 or 3.5? Seems like it's reverted to where I'm having to constantly reset my phone or the watch to get the the watch to show connected in the Gamin Connect App (almost always shows as connected when I go to my phone's bluetooth settings).

Edit: I didn't have this issue at all with v3.6
  • There is no option to downgrade and no workaround for the meanwhile

In my opinion this is not acceptable. Yes, problems will happen - sure, but that's exactly why a downgrade should be allowed.
Why are we expected to use a malfunctioning expensive device for weeks when it's totally technically possible to go back to a functioning version until the problem is resolved?

  • No issues here with GPS and my BT connection with my iPhone 6 has not been lost since 3.7 was installed (happened almost daily before). Altitude sensor is also working better (after manual calibration to the correct altitude). Are these watches not all the same looking at hardware?
