Album not being deleted from 645M

So I know that handling music on the 645M may be a work in progress (I hope so, anyway!) but does anyone have a fix for a random album which is showing on the watch, but not in Garmin Express or in the file structure when using an MTP compatible app on my Mac (Commander One Pro). Although the album / artist / tracks are shown in the watch list, they're not playable. I've tried restarting the watch and deleting everything from within Express but nothing will shift it. Before I reset the watch to factory settings, does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

We are continuing to look into this issue. Prior to seeing the album displayed on the watch and not being able to play any of the songs, did you have this album synced to the watch and were you ever able to play any of these songs successfully, and did you delete them off of the watch at any point prior to seeing the issue?

Side note: Your Audio Prompts are not working because the files are missing from the device. We are working on this as well. Do you recall deleting any files from the music drive?
  • Hi Joey - I've actually had the watch replaced by the retailer so I guess the original will be on it's way back to you. As far as I remember I didn't physically delete anything from the device (I'm using a Mac so can't easily access the file structure) - it was all managed via Garmin Express, but I noticed a few 'blue triangles' when performing resets while I was trying to get things working - the watch wouldn't load cleanly and needed a power cycle to kick it into life.

Thank you for the information. I will update the ticket with this information. I am glad that you were able to get a replacement.

Please post your results with the new watch, as I have been experiencing the same issue. Thank you.

So, after a day of testing, things seem to be working fine. I've only transferred an iTunes playlist via Garmin Connect on a Mac up to now, and that worked. Later, I'll try to remove it and add an album or two and report back. When I had the previous watch, I could sometimes see 'rogue' empty Artist/Album folders in the file structure after removal using Connect so I'll look out for that.
  • Thank you for posting back. I have the same issue with empty “rogue” artist/albums.

I'm having the same problem on my watch. Was this problem ever resolved and, if so, how?
