So I know that handling music on the 645M may be a work in progress (I hope so, anyway!) but does anyone have a fix for a random album which is showing on the watch, but not in Garmin Express or in the file structure when using an MTP compatible app on my Mac (Commander One Pro). Although the album / artist / tracks are shown in the watch list, they're not playable. I've tried restarting the watch and deleting everything from within Express but nothing will shift it. Before I reset the watch to factory settings, does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
Similar problem, although I have something showing in Garmin Express which wont budge. When trying to delete it it says 'There was an error saving your changes'.
I have the exact same problem. Album appears on the watch. Not playable. And I can't delete it. I posted about it here like a month ago but no one had a solution for this problem.
If you are not able to delete an album or other media files from the watch/Garmin Express, we would encourage you to reach out to us directly. Our Product Support team will want to collect Garmin Express logs and information about the music files in order to look at this further. So Garmin-Joey, I did what you suggested and 6 days later I'm still waiting for any reply. Not impressed to be honest...is there anything else I can do to escalate this?
I’ve had the same problem with music appearing but not playing. My observations by reading various posts is that its Mac users that encounter this problem and it may have something to do with MTP mode. The only fix I’ve found, and it’s not convenient, was to reset the watch to factory, delete it from Garmin Express and start over. I’d really like to see a response from Garmin on this issue, please post the response here if you get one.
