it turned off for me

I'm having the same issue with FR 45S. Firmware is updated to 5.4. Battery is fully charged and watch works ok monitoring steps, HRM etc, BUT when trying to start an activity, the watch always turns off after only a few seconds of searching for GPS. CPE status says CURRENT.

I'm having this problem since more than one month. Sometimes it shut down after 5 minutes, sometimes after 1h. Even with a fully loaded battery, always during running mode. Software is version 5.4, the watch is nearly 3 years old.

Garmin-Sierra my wifes forerunner 45 is also experiencing the same issue

I have the same issue watch crashes in gps running mode after 30 to 55 mins battery shows 60%

I am having the same issue with my forerunner. It does not matter how charged the battery is it does when I am using the run activity and GPS.

Hi, I have the same problem with my FR45 randomly switching off on runs even when fully charged. 

Firmware is V5.4

I'm in the UK , do you have a solution for this problem yet ???
