Corrupted .fit files that won't upload to Garmin Connect/Express

Hey there--similar issues to others here where my last few activities are apparently "corrupt" and cannot be uploaded to Garmin Express/Connect. They are attached.

Is there any way to prevent this in the future? Don't want to constantly have to manually fix them...

Thanks Mike. Unfortunately I still can't get it to work. When I tried to convert to .csv and upload that way, Garmin accepted it as FitBit data but said there was an issue with the time. I've tried a timecode fixing tool via Strava but still nothing.

Thanks for the help though :-)

Why are you trying to convert it to a .csv file?

Ensure you delete any broken versions you have and upload the fixed version as a manual upload. I've been able to upload the fixed file to both Strava and GC.

Hi Mike, sorry should have said I tried .CSV yesterday before I came on here as I read somewhere that you can upload that way. I didn't delete old versions so hopefully that's the problem. Will try again. Thanks for your help x

Hi all, I also have a corrupt FIT file. Battery was 2 out of 4 maybe this had something to do with it.
I tried to repair using the online tool (http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/), but it wouldn't accept the file.
Would be grateful if someone could repair. ...

Good Morning All (UK time)

I've got a corrupt file upload message on an activity file Garmin 800 (cycling). I think the ride stopped recording around 175 miles. Any help cleaning it would be gratefully appreciated.

(the device also froze but I've sorted that)
