Corrupted .fit files that won't upload to Garmin Connect/Express

Question

Hey there--similar issues to others here where my last few activities are apparently "corrupt" and cannot be uploaded to Garmin Express/Connect. They are attached.

Is there any way to prevent this in the future? Don't want to constantly have to manually fix them...

This will work - B74B4417-fixed.fit 
 Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files: 
 
 After verifying that everything has synced, remove the files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device&rsquo;s file system using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you're using a Mac computer, empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer 
 Avoid excessive button presses such as pausing during your activity 
 Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express 
 If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support

 the fit file had two corrupted records that were recovered by changing the record number 
 repaired record-header, updated file length and recalculated file checksum 
 recommend to check the ACTIVITY folder for many files 
 when yes, do a fit file backup/clean operation

 when too many or too low free memory, time for a backup/clean operation
