Single activity won't sync

I can't get one of my recent runs to show up in the Garmin Connect app. It's visible as an activity on my watch, and SOME of its data (like steps and calories) are visible in the app, but not the run itself with map, laps, etc. I've run since then, and that subsequent run synced fine and was displayed in the app as expected. How can I get this single run to sync?

I'm using a Forerunner 35 and a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android Nougat. My Garmin Connect app is version 4.3.

No advice about this? I've run again since posting this, and THAT subsequent run also synced fine with no issues. I just can't get this particular run to sync for some reason. Surely I'm not the first person to run into this...

Try syncing using the supplied USB cable via Garmin Express. i had the same problem with one activity not syncing into Garmin Connect but using the cable solved it for me.

I have the same problem.  The run shows up on my watch, but not on the app or the computer.  It happened a few weeks ago as well.

    1. Click on "Garmin Forerunner 35" in Devices and Drives on your computer.

    2. Click on the "Garmin" folder.

    3. Click on the "Activities" folder.

    4. Copy the .FIT file (look for the matching date and time) and paste on your desktop.

    5. Go to Garmin Connect via your computer.

    6. Click on the "Cloud w/Arrow" icon in upper right corner (Upload or Import Activity)

    7. Drop the file where it says "Drop File Here or Browse to Select".

    8. Click on the "Import Data" button.

    9. The missing workout should show up on your computer (and your device after synching).

Exactly the same issue from three days ago. Don’t have my laptop so can’t try the solution below but would like to know if it works!

great tips, yes the above steps worked, however, once i got the file onto my computer, the gps data stopped at 13k/35k in the activity, watch still showed then entire activity totals, but there must have been some error and the file stopped getting gpx data about halfway through, bummer!
