Upload problems - GPX or TCX in Garmin Edge 1000

Hello,

I have problems when I upload GPX or TCX course files in NewFiles folder. I make the upload, turn the Garmin Edge 1000 on and the files are not in the courses folder.

How can I solve this?

This happened only recently. Before it worked very nice this way.

I'm having a similar issue, Joao. The Garmin is not seeing the GPX file. However I used Fit Route Converter and the Garmin picked that up.

Maybe too many courses in the Course folder? 100 may be the max on the 1000 (at least on my Edge Explore).

I already found the problem. The original GPX/TCX file can not contain characters or emojis. Now is working fine again :)

Same rpoblem on Edge 1000 from Ride with GPS. It started suddenly few days ago end happens on both my GPS. Tried the solution below without succes. Where is the problem Garmin oR Ride with GPS??

Why aren't you using FIT?

Can you provide a link to the RWGPS route?

How many courses do you have on your 1000? There's a limit of 100 courses. (And 200 for activities.)

I have tried FIT and it not working eather. I will check the courses but what is amazing is both mine and the one of my wife bugged at the same time

That's odd. Keep in mind that RWGPS is very heavily used.

Can you provide a link to the course page?

Thanks for your help finaly the problem was that I had 100 courses! I deleted them and I am able to upload again

how to upload more than 100 old activities from an old device??? more than 100 does not see the device

So, you have 100+ activities on an old device?

What device?

Do you use the Garmin Connect website?

If so, are those old activities there?
