problem up loading ride

my garmin 820 has stopped uploading my rides have removed bluetooth and garmin app and re set up worked a couple of times but stoped working now can pair devices but when comes to uploads fails plus will not upload manualy now can any body give me any tips

That sounds like a problem I had some time ago...would not upload...redid the app install and pairing...it would work a few times... the I'd have to do it all over again. For me it just started working again and I did not know why.

With it not working, you should still be able to upload your activities if you connect you 820 to your computer via usb cable and use Garmin Express. You can also just manually copy files from the 820's activities folder to you computer and to Garmin Connect.

As looigi mentioned, I would try a manual upload. But it sounds like you already tried that. If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please zip the .fit file and attach it to this thread. We can look at it to see what might be wrong.

I can manually up load but trouble is this does not add yor miles onto strava as sort of defeats the object at moment on thing my garmin seems to be good for is telling me how many miles I have road

Sorry, I was confused, because before you stated...

uploads fails plus will not upload manualy

In the past, when I had this kind of problem, I solved it by deleting all the rides except the last one I had to load.
