This software is now live for all users.
First ride today. Excellent- no dropping of any connections (BT phone, ant+ HR/Power/ Di2).
3:45 mins and 40% battery used (60%remaining). It was steady through the ride at 11% per hour.
I’m happy with…
To revert to 11.20:
Find and download Edge820_1120.gcd on the http://gawisp.com/perry/edge/ website.
Rename the file to gupdate.gcd and copy it to the Garmin directory on your 820. There likely will already…
Thanks Matthew.
I finally got it late yesterday. Having ridden over 250 miles so far this week I’ll probably get to try it on tomorrow or the day after.

Just updated to 12.50 and my ride this morning didn't upload over WiFi. Tried deleting and re-adding my home network. Gets as far as connecting and the up/down arrows flashing but no message saying ride uploaded and it's not appeared on my Connect activities. Bah. (see below for possible solution: relink Edge to G Connect a/c via G Express on PC)
Ok, so then I update Garmin Express on my W10 box to 6.21, USB my Edge to it and get told I need to link the Edge to my Garmin Connect account. Redo that and it looks like it's syncing again (though was that via WiFi or over USB? - not sure until my next ride).
I've got the same problem since (I think) version 12.1. Wifi sync doesn't go far than 'Checking' after which it disconnects.
When I try to sync over wifi through a hotspot on my phone it works fine, but I can't figure out what the problem is when syncing through my home wifi network.
I was out riding a 110 km ride with my wife today. 3hrs and 45 minutes and 25 % battery left on mine with 12.50 and and 35 % battery left on that of my wife with 12.40. Both 820s are less than 2 years old. I used to be able to ride far longer rides without the device ever going in battery save mode - now it often happens. Not really what I hoped for, when upgrading my Garmin 800. I'm actually thinking about starting to use that one for the longer rides again :-(
As I mentioned in other threads, I've gone back to 11.2, which is the last rev prior to battery life issues, green screen issues, and sensor dropouts. I have no problems with it. I suggest reverting to 11.2 if it works for you. You can restore your settings, data screens, sensor pairings, and info by saving the appropriate files/folders and copying them back after the 11.2 installs.
Today 40 km after changing from 12.40 to 12.50.
820 connected to a speed and cadence sensor, HR, lights and a smartphone. Backlight set to 0% (it was sunny).
During 1.5 hours of driving there was no problem with the device. The battery is 100% to 86% discharged.

I’m happy with that as it seems to be a slight improvement- I was getting 12-13% use per hour. Of course factors I can’t control may have affected it (maybe there are plenty of satellite in view today so the unit doesn’t have to search).
Garmin - you have a happy customer here.

Usual & yet unsolved issues with strava segments and course
Good thing is that now sram etap (2X front / 11 rear) are now well recorded on garmin fit file (While gears were displayed correctly while riding) such that on sram website we have now correct information about time/distance/avg power for each gear and chain ring
2 more rides, no sensor dropouts and battery dropped from 100% to 75% in two hours on both rides, no navigation.
