Sensor Pairing and Connection Issues after 12.30

In version 12.30 i find my diferents sensor (vitesse, power and heart frequence)

At the same time my old Edge800 finds and keeps the connection with the same sensors.

Everything was good before this new version.

This is what Garmin says. I've done it a few times in the past and it's worked, but I haven't specifically downgraded from 12.3 to 12.1

I sent a message to Matthew with my files and have managed to keep mine working by doing a hard reset. However when I contacted support regardless of the number of times I told him it was a software problem and not a hardware problem, all he said was send the 820 back.

moriaty39 - You had a conversation with a different Matthew at Garmin. This issue will not be resolved by sending back your Edge 820. I am sorry for the confusion.

I hope very soon. It's very annoying, crap training like this. Wifi not working oké. And have to turn off the Bluetooth to keep the sensors alive. Hope it will fix the altitude en battery live too!

The 830 started out with a lot of issues, but it's settled down fairly well, though there are still a few significant issues outstanding. Check the 830 forum for its current status:

My apologies Matthew. I spoke to Garmin support and not you and that was the response that I got from them. As you can understand no way was I going to send my 820 back as I knew it was not a hardware problem. Support needs to be more switched on and this is not the first time. It was incidentally Support USA.

I download to 12.10 and it start working again like you. No update to 12.30 again. The update makes my garmin flying several times through the room,,,,,

After updating the FW to v12.30, I did lose the connection after about 1 km of cycling to both the HR and Cadens sensor. The speed sensor was still working.
Back from the ride, I've replaced the batteries of both sensors. Still no connection.
Then I removed both sensors from the list of connected sensor in my Garmin Edge 820, but it was unable to find them when searching for new sensor.
For me it helped to perform a reset of the device.
Turn the device on. After it has finished starting up (the main screen appears) press the on/off button for approx. 10 second. The device will reset without erasing any data.
Afterwards the device was able to find the sensors.
Yesterday I wnet for a 2 hour ride. The device didn't lost the connection to the sensors.

I also test firmware 12.30 now. But i do a hard reset of everything before I update.

Only the runtime of 4:30h is not acceptable, but the sensors went fine.
