Golden Cheetah

I use Golden Cheetah to analyse my rides. I used to import the ride from Garmin\Activity folder; however, since a week this folder seems to be empty (the same applies also to the 1030 of my wife). What has happened? Software update??

Now I export the ride in the original format from Garmin Connect, unpack the zip-file and subsequently import it in Golden Cheetah. It works, but it is less straight forward as before (directly importing from the Garmin\Activity folder)

There is an issue with the version 7.18.0 of Garmin Express, which is deleting activities from the device when it syncs. If you have GE set to run in the background it would have done it as soon as you connected your device to the computer

Garmin has just pushed out an update to 7.18.1 that resolves it

Hi, Golden Cheetah has a feature that lets you login directly to your Garmin Connect account (via an in-app website window), and then when you download an activity from Garmin Connect, Golden Cheetah intercepts the file automatically and imports it for you. It's a bit more convenient than the other methods. Cheers
