Any got views of v10 yet ?

24 hours, and no one dipped their toe yet ? I do hope the inability to power up is of of the the "fixed various stabilization issues" that were fixed !

Initially everything appeared OK. However like with the 9.68 Beta. On power-up the edge will lock up if WiFi & BT are both enabled. Disable one of them & the Edge starts fine

I also have the update v10 on my edge and it definitely performs better than v9.5. Screen response time is a lot better.

It seems that the descriptions of the updates for Edge1030 and 1030PLUS have been mixed up.

-Added a toggle for MTB map theme

There are no MTB themes for normal 1030 for example - only Edge 1030PLUS!

Edge 1030PLUS got a GPS update.

As far as I can tell - yes. But I have my knowledge only from various publications.
Edge 1030: Mediatek MT6630
Edge 1030 PLUS: „the new Sony GPS chip“ - that‘s what have read.

3hr ride today, everything worked well. Speed sensor, power meter, HR, light network, AXS shifters. Out and back loop, altitude was about right and it performed better than 9.50.

I've been running 2.51 beta GPS firmware on my 1030 for the past year without any problems. Available here: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=15023 (and there doesn't seem to have been a further update in the year since this version was released)...

Same here, locks up mostly and sometimes doesn't.... boot up can take minutes. tried the 'turn off phone BT' then it works more 'normally'. turned phone BT back on and so far no lock up.....

Edge 1030 updated to v10.0 2 days ago and now hangs on startup.... always have to do hard reset to get into device....

Disable either Bluetooth or WiFi, then it'll start. Already mentioned in this thread, but keep telling Garmin!

Not really noticing progress in v10:

Device still crashes if I run a course imported with Komoot IQ app

Activating mass storage mode is still a PITA on a Mac

Often, map view in turn notifications for upcoming roundabouts makes no sense; has always been that way, giving up hope

Recalculation of a route takes ages and meanwhile the map view screen freezes and I can^t see where I am going

Response is sluggish sometime
