24 hours, and no one dipped their toe yet ? I do hope the inability to power up is of of the the "fixed various stabilization issues" that were fixed !

hangs on startup, fires up then stuck with "Checking" at status line
Initially everything appeared OK. However like with the 9.68 Beta. On power-up the edge will lock up if WiFi & BT are both enabled. Disable one of them & the Edge starts fine
I also have the update v10 on my edge and it definitely performs better than v9.5. Screen response time is a lot better.
Hi. There's no specific test that replicates it. Sometimes it's on power-up/boot and other times it can be just with it sitting on the table or when I'm browsing through the profiles, settings or stats.
It may just be something that happens when you turn on the edge from a complete power-off rather than resuming from sleep I haven't established that yet. Do you just put your device to sleep or do you do a completed power-off when you've tested?
Another thing is that when connecting to a computer with both WiFi/BT enabled the Edge will attempt to go into mass storage & sometimes the display will just go blank & doesn't connect. I've got to disconnect it, do soft re-boot by pressing the power button for 10 seconds & disable either Wi-Fi or BT & reconnect it to the computer. Then it will transfer into mass storage no problem
I’ve always turned it fully off, don’t believe in sleep :). I’ll do a ride in the morning and see if it works properly then, but at the moment everything seems to be working.
Me too. The only problem I have been getting is that the device turns off in the middle of a ride if I'm using the map view. I haven't tried this version with the maps yet.
I have never encountered your problem with the wifi and bluetooth. Have you discussed the issue with Garmin Support? Does the 1030 use the same chip for wifi and bluetooth?
My Edge was update smoothly. First thing I saw : Garmin made small changes to the pages appearance. For example, in "Navigation", there was a light grey backgroup under each menu choice, now it's only typo on white background. I prefered the previous look/design. It's raining now, I'll make a real try on by bike tomorrow.
I don't know what the BT/WiFi makeup of the edge is but I reported the issue to Garmin under the 9.66 Beta, where I first encountered the issue & sent them a copy of the debugging folder from my edge, which showed crashes in the BT_READ module. I also provided further info to them after installing the 9.68 beta.
They'd apparently had other reports especially when connecting to a computer & transferring to mass storage. They were investigating the issue & at the time they were advising anyone with the issue to disable BT before connecting to a computer.
What about of the performance of the v10 compared to the last 2 stables 9.50 and 9.10 . So in 9.10 when I moved my finger on screen from left to right or from right to left (slide) to switch between screens, it was just less than a sec.
Then betas were coming and that slowed down dramatically. Each of touch takes 1-1.5 seconds: touch-move-(wait 1-1.5 seconds)-change screen. Of course I reported this issue. My current version around 9.3x. I did not want to brick my 1030 as replacing it in my country is a kind of "Mount Everest challenge" as far as the time and patience of customer concerned. ;-)
Really annoying as when network connection is running in the background that is even slower (when finish training and it is uploading data, it looks like to hang up).
So what about the performance of V10 compared to previous version like 9.1?
