This update is pure garbage. I am tired of Garmin releasing a great piece of hardware that does not have well tested, appropriate software. Then, you guys release lots of updates because you haven't tested your hardware to make sure you have proper software to operate you hardware.
BUT, this new firmware update is a DISASTER. I downloaded it on Friday, and, rode a 125 mile ride on Saturday. It kept crashing my unit about every 5-10 minutes. I had my route on the unit and it led to innumerable mistakes because the number of turns on this ride required the unit to be reliable. Then, after 77 miles, the whole unit crashed and wouldn't restart any longer. So, I have no data for miles 77-125. What a piece of garbage software. After all these years of the same pattern of poor software engineering, either fire your in-house IT staff and get new people, or outsource the work to a competent contractor. For what I paid, I deserve better.
