Distance to next waypoint ?

Hello,

I recently got a 1030 to replace my forerunner 920xt for cycling.

I often create courses on Garmin Connect, with some waypoints to highlight climbs tops.

With the Forerunner I was able to see the distance to next waypoint, but no way to get this info with the 1030.
This only thing I have is the distance to the next turn. So useless when you globally know where to go...

Is there any way to display the distance to the next waypoint set in Garmin Connect? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1440604.jpg

Well I'm a bit confused... The answer for Distance is so much evident, there is a dedicated data field for that...

But, how to show also name and type (summit, valley, water, etc...) of next waypoint ?

If course points are enabled the Edge will add a new page to your training pages that lists all the course points, the distance to them and their description. With the course loaded try scrolling through your training pages and see if you can find it. There is also a data field "Course Pt. Dist." available under the courses data field category that you can add to your training pages.
