Biked 120 miles on Sunday, iOS Garmin Connect reports 0 intensity minutes.

Assuming the Edge 1030 doesn't work with Intensity Minutes? That's a huge bug in my opinion. My guess is that only my Fenix 5X data is showing there.

I can't imagine that there aren't Garmin engineers who have an edge and a fenix. They must be familiar with this issue/problem
  • Why would I wear a watch when I'm running an Edge 1030 with a heart rate monitor?

So you can track intensity minutes ????. I have a 1030 and a 935, which I always wear, even when recording a ride on my 1030 (oe even my old 520). I get intensity minutes tracked just fine.
  • Of course an Edge owner would track a ride using the Edge, rather than their watch.

When I'm riding, and tracking the activity on my Edge 1030, my Vivoactive 3 tends to pick up my heart rate and record the intensity minutes.

If I REALLY want intensity minutes to be recorded while I'm doing an activity with a device that doesn't track them ... I activate the Cardio workout on my VA 3. It connects to my ANT+ HRM and records the activity. To avoid duplicate activities, I just discard the one recorded by my VA 3.
