Wow, just had a long telephone conversation with Garmin UK about my order - for which I still have no shipping date. This is infuriating when stock is now appearing at UK retailers for same day delivery! They told me a story about all sorts of website ordering system problems at their end - In Stock status published that were incorrect, Shipping Date problems etc - as we have seen.
And then they dropped a bombshell - a real lesson for me - they said it will ALWAYS be the case that retailers have stock BEFORE Garmin UK !!
I cancelled my Garmin UK order (they still don't have stock, and they can say anything about shipping dates) - and placed next day delivery order with Sigma Sport.
