Manual Training Load

Can I manually add training load to a ride I’ve created manually? I took a Peloton ride but didn’t record it on my watch (though wore it throughout). I pushed much harder than I thought I would and all my training readiness metrics are out of whack. If I could have someone do it on just this one activity, I promise not to do this again (but please consider this a feature request to be able to create manual activities that include training load)

  • I don't think it's possible, but of it were, how would you figure out a correct training load to enter manually?

  • Fair point Bitti, but it’s possible to estimate it. My ride was one of the hardest I’ve done (the guy at the top of the leaderboard was just catchable if I pushed really really hard - I did it, just). But because it’s not registered at all, my Forerunner is telling me that my training readiness is high and presumably thinks I should be out running a marathon today.

  • It is really too bad that there is no way to alter existing workouts training load (due to poor sensor readings or missing!) and/or to account for other activities that don't add in.

Other training platforms like Strava, TrainerRoad, etc... allow for load management a lot better.

Similar but different, has happened to me.... Sure would be nice to be able to fix the training load of a hard 1hr run that had a average&max HR of just 92/110bpm, just because of a bad reading it gives almost zero training load to system, no aerobic effect, no training recovery time....
Or other times I go for a super easy 40minute job... and it gives me a heart rate that locks at 198bpm (above my max!) and it gives tons of Load AND drops my vo2max a couple points!!! ugh
