When running outside in bright sunlight I want the Forerunner 965 display to be Always On and at full brightness all of the time with no dimming and no gesture required to light it up. I understand that this will consume additional battery life.
There seems to be no option to enable this behaviour in the Display settings. The best you seem to be able to do is set a 15 second timeout with the gesture or push the light button, which is annoying when you are running and want to quickly glance at the screen.

Does anyone know whether Garmin has / will address this issue anytime soon? Any workaround solutions?
