20.26 beta to final Varia Radar STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Having posted 3 times during beta (with each update) with many other people also commenting, Garmin still releases FINAL 20.26 with Varia Radar not properly working with 965. With no idea of how or why, the screen will sometimes show green/yellow/red bars with number of vehicles, BUT MOSTLY JUST HAS HALF BUBBLE ON TOP SAYING VEHICLE APPROACHING AND SHOWING NO BARS OR VEHICLES. It will then give an "all clear" beep. This makes the radar mostly useless! Come on Garmin, get this fixed!

    I'm also having this issue. Vibration, but no gauge. USA. Yes, Garmin can contact me.

    • Just checked again this morning. The VC is working correctly. It no updating yesterday looks like a one time glitch. The bike radar connect is field is working correctly. It shows vehicle distance and approach speed and may be used as a temp fix for the problem.

    Are you saying this was fixed in the most recent FW update?  It wasn't specified in the list as a fix if so.

    No just the vehicle count field in the bike rader connect iq field is fixed

    Having the same problem - feels like this a screen timeout bug as it always works properly after the auto lap notice screen for a few minutes and than goes back to just a notification at the top - I am so glad to hear others are having a same problem - was thinking of picking up an old 955 non-oled just to solve this problem

    after more investigation, it seems the bars will appear for a few minutes AFTER having received a notification (text, whatsapp, etc) OR an auto lap or distance reminder. Also, I am using the MyBikeRadar IQ app

    I am using Garmin 955 version 20.29 and Varia is still not showing correctly, IT IS DANGEROUS, be careful sometimes it is showing, sometimes it is not, sometimes it is only notifying vehicle approaching and finally sometimes it shows cars correctly... The radar icon is not always showing, so I am not even sure it is correctly connected. 

    I am not sure if there is a way to revert back to factory settings, but that is what I would like to do with such things...  It was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago... 
    I haven't found anything from Garmin about this yet, although I would expect something soon on such a safety feature people rely on while in traffic...
