Forerunner 965 crashes when opening Golf activity

Tried using the golf functionality on my watch for the first time.

When I start the activity, and select the golf course, it starts loading for a second or two, and then it just reboots the watch.

    Hur går det med detta problem!!?? Jag behöver klockan till golf nu. Kan vi få en rapport om hur det går med ny uppdatering?

    1. Happened to me for last week or so with 20.29.

    2. Happened at two courses I’ve been to. 
    3. Yes. 
    4. USA. 

    Behavior is as follows: Start golf app on Forerunner 965. GPS loads, it displays “Welcome to <Golf Course>” without the option to select course (as expected). It loads, and then the watch crashes and resets. 

    I just attempted to reproduce behavior from home, and it now gives me an option to select course. I selected, it showed “Loading course” then crashed. I have a video of behavior.

    Exactly the same behavior and problem for me in Sweden (and now on vacation in Italy) with my Forerunner 965.

    Same here. Just bought the device and tried to use it for the first time for golf yesterday. Version 20.29.

    Hi,

    any update on that problem? 
    I bought this expensive watch to play golf. And now, can not even load any course. It crashes each time.  I managed to play 2 games 3 months ago and was working (not fine.. because the yardage is inaccurate) but was able to play. 
    Now, its just a useless  device for golf since an update somewhere in early september. Try to force an update 2 weeks ago like you suggested.

    but it didnt help.  Still crashing when I pick a golf course. (Reboot) and tried 4 differents golf courses.

    Hi, I have a Forerunner and since updating to the latest software to version 20.29 my golf app does not work on the watch. When i select the course i want to play the watch tries to load the course and then crashes and restarts. I have tried this with multiple course, have disconnected my watch from the apps and reloaded etc.

    I see form the forums that this issue is happening with various models.

    Please confirm the remedy asap as this is the function i use most on my watch.

    Once further announcements become available, they will be emailed to user accounts that have been added to the ticket for the issue, and this post will be updated as well at that time.
