Forerunner 965 crashes when opening Golf activity

Tried using the golf functionality on my watch for the first time.

When I start the activity, and select the golf course, it starts loading for a second or two, and then it just reboots the watch.

Update as of September 18th, 2024:

Version 20.29 is now available, and once installed...see if this helps to correct the issue. If you continue have the concern after verifying the new version is installed…

Same thing here, since the update the golf app crashes every time. Can we have access to the older version of the software to get the functionality of our watches back?

i have the same problèm. Golf was working fine befor 20.26. after that the watch crash and restart when i select a golf course. I just instal 20.29 and it have the same problem.

1-golf app was working befor 20.26

2-it happen to every courses

Hey, I’m having the same issues as everyone else.
1) I believe but cannot confirm this started happening with 20.26 update. It worked fine when I got the watch in July but now shuts down with golf. I do not see a new version to install (looking on the Garmin Connect App under software update).
2) The watch shuts down instantly once I select a course - I’ve tried two courses.

I'm on version 20.29 and experienced the same problem - rebooting every time I start the activity. It got to the point of selecting course, then the watch reboots. Forerunner 955

I have been experiencing this issue recently as of last week. I verified that I was running 20.26. I updated to 20.29 and I still have the issue. Once the GPS connects the watch vibrates and reboots itself. The new version has not resolved the issue. Please advise. This was a large reason for the purchase of this watch which I did back in May of this year. So only a few months old.
