I have f965, I updated it to the new version 18.27. I turned off Pulse Ox and turned off allway display. I fully charged the battery last night and this morning it was at 58%. Does anyone have the same error?

I had a similar issue, and it was weird. I had changed an option on the watch, set the default setting for GPS to "auto select" I mean it was already set to that in the running options, but I decided to…
I have this same issue with my FR955
I havent changed a single setting and since the last update I’ve gone from charging once a week to losing at least 30% daily. Same usage pattern and settings…
Not ideal - so how do we go about solving or dealing with this battery drain issue? It's 100% not something that I've tweaked or changed, as my watch has remained unchanged for months now in terms of settings…
Well I got my replacement today, les than 24hrs after speaking to CS.
I've sync'd it and I'm using the new device, but before I sent back the old one I'm deleting the two folders you referenced earlier. The remotesw folder had a file in it in my case, but NewFiles was empty.
I've charged my old device to 100% too, and I'll monitor how it performs sitting on the table. One thing I've noticed is the green light isn't flashing, so perhaps it won't be a representative test to see if anything actually gets fixed as the battery will inevitably be draining less as the green HR light isn't working away in the background.
My new device arrived with 16.22 on it, and immediately updated to 18.27. I haven't messed with the folders on the new device (yet). It has however dropped from 100% to 98% in 1hr. I'll keep an eye on it as well.
This firmware 18.27 has some firmware issues for sure
Garmin-Sierra could you add it to the next firmware ?
I'm convinced its a software update, but Garmin sent me a replacement immediately after I reported the behaviour.
I tried the fix suggested above and whilst I can't confirm that it works for sure as I haven't been wearing the old watch, the battery did drop only 4% in the whole day! It should be noted that this is with the green HR light not being on, as the watch was sitting on my table for 26hrs. It was getting through 49%/day when it was being worn and before I deleted the folders.
I stopped wearing it yesterday and did the folder deletion as suggested, but as I haven't worn the watch, I don't know if this is simply normal battery use for an unworn FR265. I have the FR265 btw, not FR965... although it's likely the same fix if it is indeed the root cause.
Anyway, my old watch is going back to Garmin tomorrow. I'm using the new one, which is also on v18.27, and dropping about 9% per day, which is normal for me.
hope that Garmin-Sierra is aware of this
connect IQ Download a software that can view hourly power consumption in real-time(0.1% BatteryMonitor(李二牛作品)). Based on your operations during the process, you will know the specific aspects of power consumption. If it is a sudden high proportion of power consumption, it can be considered as a bug in a third-party dial or a new system
No, you can analyze the consumption for a selected interval, and then guess, for example, why at around 7 am the consumption increased sharply - apparently due to summing up the results for the night, and this is not related to a specific application, this is the result of different operating system tasks.
Or if the watch cannot complete the update because there is not enough memory, then you will simply see an abnormally high battery consumption for this time, but you will have to guess the reason yourself.
