Floor count / altitude meter too high

Hello everyone!

Since about 2 weeks now, my Forerunner 965 has been showing too much high values for the floors. When I move around my apartment, for example, I automatically get floor counts. I also get too many altitude meters displayed during outdoor activities.

I have already tried to calibrate the barometer or to clean the hole according to the Garmin instructions. Does anyone else have a tip for me or do I have to send the Forerunner in after all?

I have a similar problem. I live in a hilly area. Since the recent beta update I get additional floors when driving. That’s never been a thing before

I've been using the beta version 18.15 and it seems to be better though I guess they kind of fixed the issue.

it is not perfect as it was before 17.24 but it is not terrible either.

Also I faced issues while trying to report this as a bug in my country as they were suggesting it was a hardware problem and that I should return the watch.

I don't know if anyone managed to report it as bug

let's hope that it will get fixed in the next stable version.

have the same problem some times. Some times my watch count floor climbing when I lye on my bed.

Hi Garmin-Sierra, is this being looked into?

For me the issues started with beta 18.x, that's why I created the bug report

Yes, I got that recently. I am really loosing patience with Garmin but I have no idea what to do with all the Garmin junk I own
