My new Garmin 965 has Charging issues. It doesn’t charge

I just bought a new garmin 965. It doesn’t charge at all. The charging symbol is displayed but fails to charge even after 12 hours of plugging in

I tried all options, I’m sure that the battery is faulty.

I bought the watch in Hongkong, can it be sent for service/ replacement in any other country or only in Hong Kong ?

I own a Garmin Forerunner 965, and despite showing signs of charging (evidenced by a lightning bolt icon in the battery indicator when connected to a power source), the battery level fails to increase. I've attempted to rectify the issue by cleaning the charging contacts, experimenting with various charging cables, and fully depleting the watch's battery in hopes of a reset, yet none of these measures have yielded results. Additionally, a comprehensive factory reset was performed, which also did not address the problem. Did you manage to solve your problem?

I’m sending it back to the store I bought it from. He’ll get it sorted is what he assured
