The map feature that drives me crazy compared to 955

Garmin currently services my Forerunner 955 because of its battery issues, and I got to test the Forerunner 965. What I really hate about 965 is that when I'm using maps, the font is way too big, AND the map isn't centered anymore!

It drives me crazy that I can barely see the trails or road in front of me because the map isn't centered anymore! It was fine on 955, why did you have to mess it up?

A friend of mine owns Epix Pro, and it's the opposite with Epix, which is way more reasonable. This way, you can see the trails / roads in front of you on the map, and the font isn't annoyingly big. Come…

Is it because you're using Datafields overlaid? Try it without datafields and see if it centers.

Of course it centers that way. But the point was that I want to use those datafields when I'm running in new places but Garmin annoyingly made the font too big and the map isn't centered.

I agree completely, this bugs me as well. My Fenix 6x did it right, with the arrow in between the data fields.

I ordered FR 955 the day it was released because I really liked FR 945. But if I had known how buddy 955 was, I would've updated to Fenix 7. I've been testing this 965 watch for a while now, and even though most of the things work well, these small things annoy me.
