I reported so many bugs that garmin support is fed up with it and they offered to replace my watch with a new one.
How that is going to solve my softwareproblems is a big mystery to me.
Same here, every time I report some bugs they go to that replace...and you wait for more then 8 days to change to new one...and same bugs again and again....
Could you help us on this ?
Yeh. Garmin support only knows how to deal with hardware problems. They have really zero knowlegde about software. Or it is to much work to report the bugs to developers. Or the developers don’t get time because garmin marketing wants more and more (o so useless) features.
well, I’m gona go with them this time and then see if they are readdy to accept the fact that the forerunner 965 firmware is really, really really of low quality.
Usually the support from your Country is the one in charge...they are in holiday, very hard to respond. to email..they don't want to open a case....
this is the forum to report
This is definitely not the forum to report bugs. Garmin hardly monitors this. This forum is just a cost saving for Garmin where users answer questions other users have.
The beta part of the forum is a place to report bugs. But now the beta is over and that part isn’t monitored anymore (and the reported bugs are not fixed in the final version)
From e-mail, I get a response most of the time. But they refuse to look i to softwareproblems.
Well. I use several methods to report bugs. From posts here (and I clearly mark them as bug reports) I never got any response. From mails to garmin product support, I at least get a reaction, most of the time. Not a useful reaction, but a reaction nonetheless. Well, it depends. Bug reports on apps are more likely to get a fix than bug reports on firmwares.
A better experience I got from post in the beta forum. Although, I never got anything better than, “that got our attention but we cannot say we will do anything about it”
We have to keep pushing to them, never quit
Garmin-Sierra still here ?
