[Bug] Navigation Turn by Turn Arrow Not Present

I have noticed a bug when navigating (using run, walk, or navigate activity) with the watch.

This is an image of the navigation page from the product page on garmin.com

When I navigate, I get the route draw, with the distance, but no turn arrow.  I am guessing this is a bug?

I am using FW 4.19 and I have updated my maps using garmin express on the computer

  • My navigation is very poor close to nonexistent. Keeps redirect other ways than the right.

  • But what if I am navigating to a point of interest? Like a coffee shop?  It does and should create a route to it, but it just doesn't include the turn arrow which it definitely should

  • Exactly! This is what I am talking about.  It should work.  And the turn by turn list is absolutely USELESS, it doesn't update or go to the next instruction when you make the turn, and if the route re-routes it doesn't update the list until you leave and re-enter it

  • Same issue. Makes sense for it to work as states, it just doesn't.

  • I've just posted the same bug, and I did find your message; anyway, I've the same bug, and I really don't know when it happened but for sure few weeks ago, with beta 16.16 the arrows were back..now with 16.17 they disappeared again...or maybe it just happens randomly. ut it's for sure frustrating trying to use the turn-by-turn navigation and having to look at the tiny map to prepare for the next turn, especially if you're running a very curvy course in an unknown city, like what happened to me many times during my business trips. I hope Garmin acknowledges and fixes this annoying bug in the next release.

PS: btw, I can hear the alert sound when the turn i approaching, but no arrows and no pop-ups with the next turn clearly showed with arrows.
