Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing extreme battery drain? Seems like my watch is losing battery life faster than before..I know it was an issue a year or two ago but started noticing this the last couple of months… Anyone else?

YES, 955 Solar, losing more than 10% a day with everything off (all comms and PulseOx). Before, when it was new or within the first year was half of that. After every update is getting worse. With full…
Similar situation. After the latest updates (20.26, 20.29 and 20.31) the battery discharge in normal use mode increased by about one and a half to two times. In activity mode, the battery discharge did…
I’ve tried to reboot, and it does not work… I think it’s 10%+ daily without even doing an activity and more when I do… crazy… sleeping I lose close to 6-7% (8 hours not 12 ha)…. Not much I can do I guess…
Тоже, после последнего обновления дико садится батарея! Просто жуть.
Update to 20.32 today, then charged my watch to 100%.
Garmin Share is off. Using built-in digital watch face without displaying seconds and my long term battery drain over the past 5 hours is .609%/hr. Can't say that's an improvement. Also have BT/pulse ox off.
Yeah not fixed…gone down 11% in 7 hours….. did 15k run but should not be like this….:/
I did a quick test - checked battery drain one day, then next day turned incident detection, storm alert and jet lag advisor fully off. Battery drain was less than half than day before. Maybe it’s that incident detection issue? Haven’t done any activity yet
Yes battery was draining faster until a few days ago. Looks like its getting better now. Maybe needed a couple recharge cycles after SW update.
How did you turn off accident detection please? The GC says it can be turned off for individual sports. If I do it for all sports anyway, when I hold down the light button, it's still on. I'm confused.
That’s what I did - turned it off for all individual sports. Not saying it’s a fix, but my battery is still better, so who knows. I wish I never updated from software I had a year ago, didn’t get anything new except worse battery :/
I spoke too soon. My battery is bow back up to ~9%/day without any activity. Perhaps its time to ditch Garmin and start thinking about other brands?
1 hour run, GPS Sat IQ, navigation running during activity, watch music on. Gesture display on. Minus 22%/hour.
On the other hand, worse conditions for battery consumption cannot be created.
I have 20.32 software, fully charged yesterday afternoon and I have 68% today in the morning without any activity. Minus 32% basically in less than 1 day.
