Watch 955 solar which you'd think could handle the sun keeps freezing in 28oc temperature, has frozen twice hard reset gets it back working again but surely shouldn't be happening?

sound fun to have something freeze in the heat :-)
I'e had my 965 in higher temps than that when in Cyprus recently (mid to high 30's) and it was ok
Mine has been replaced under warranty because of that. Especially because have solar version.
Call Support / Chat with Support and they should be able to assist - if you are in the USA make sure to use the option that they send one against a deposit so you are not without a unit. You get the deposit…
Stopped wearing it at the hottest points of the day and it hasn't froze since. Definitely heat related wouldn't like to see it in 30+ weather. Is this faulty or common for all Garmin watches?

Thanks I would of thought that too.

Thanks how did you organise that ? Just a support call to them?
I've been using it in Granada (Spain) at ~40ºC without any problems. Maybe it is related to your unit.
