Can HRV status be transferred to another device?

I have FR955 for almost 2 years, wearing them all the time, so the HRV status is established and seen in GC.

If I switch to different watch which also supports HRV status, will I see HRV status immediately or need I to wait approx. 3 weeks before the HRV status establishes at the new device? About a year ago, the HRV status was not being transferred (https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-255-series/312874/hrv-status-missing-upon-receiving-a-replacement-watch), so I am wondering if there has been an improvement in the firmware since then.

Does anyone has some recent experience with that? For example a replaced watch or switching to different model.

I've had a replacement 965 and it worked fine as well.

I reset my 965 a week or so ago completely and set up form scratch and everything came across ok. I think its much better since physio true up and unified training status were implemented.

Also this link may be of interest. I do this all the time with the activity settings if I need to reset or get a new device.

I also have an excel file I keep with all the glance / activity order and other key settings so its easy to do it again.

I reset my FR955 also recently and HRV was kept, still I would like to hear from somebody with changing to a completely different watch, not just resetting the same one.

Thanks for the link, I keep backing up the whole Garmin folder regularly (just not he map files).

I switched from Instinct 2 to 955 and it didn't transfer :(

So I switched to Fenix 7 few days ago and I confirm that HRV status transition to new device worked OK.

I realized it didn't transfer properly because I have an Edge 840 and it set that one as Primary Training Device by default. After I changed it to the 955 it is now sort of working, I see no status but I do have history. I suppose it's because it has a couple of missing days.
