Correlation between temperature and elevation

I have read somewhere there is combination of buttons to diagnostic the barometer but it was for 935. But will ask the support how we can check it.

At least I can see the the Barometer readings in a "view" or "app".  But to do a analysis to see what is happening here you would need the data exported. Because I also can see the baro readings jumping over the night, wich seems pretty strange...

Best would be a statement of garmin how the principially calculate the altitude and how things are working.

The altimeter of forerunners has always been too sensitive to temperature, on the 945 it was unusable, just putting your wrist under the blankets changed the altitude. On the 955 it's a little better but I don't understand how it's possible that after so many years we're still here complaining about the inaccurate altimeter on top of the range 500 euro watches, crazy. Version 17 has bugs, beta 18x also and nothing arrives, fenix side fixes every week. They say that a new sensor is needed for skin temperature but I just bought a 100 euro Fitbit bracelet for my mum and the size seems like a joke to me.

To draw some conclusions what is happening here is would be necassary to export those readings e.g. as comma seperated values to the computer so you can do some analysis what is going on and also the values of the internal temperature sensor.

Pretty interesting, because I also used to wear it in the public bath but I do not go there very often.

Do you have some links or references where they investigate the influence of clorine to the barometric sensor?

If you search in the forum 'chlorine' you will see bunch of topics on that trend. I dose myself the chlorine granules and don't now if overdo it.

After a swim I do a shower, isn't it enough?

Can't sa,y monitor it, but will advice you when shower to rinse on the back at 6 o'clock is the hole for the altimeter.
