After last update, Garmin Pay does not work anymore.

After I enter my passcode it just says error. I already set a new password. Anyone knows the solution? Thanks!

  • Garmin watch software is a dumpsterfire. Every release new features are added but something else breaks. Either the code is spaghetti or their test and quality control proces is a mess. Do a search on 'update' and the amount of treads about broken functionality is unbelievable.

  • Was anyone actually contacted by Garmin support? I have seen 2 least 2 "Can we contact you?" questions and I gave permission. And then nothing happened.

    Did anyone find a solution?

  • It just started working again and I am flabbergasted!  I did not change anything on my watch! And no new firmware (I disabled auto firmware update).


    The only thing that I did recently is power-on my 745 and sync and I think I may have updated garmin connect on my android phone (that is connected to both watches).

    Does it work for you also? 

  • Revolut is supported. I use it daily. I am on 18.12 now, updating to 18.15

    I didn't get the error upon entering pin.

  • I'm sorry that I didn't contact you, I missed your reply on the first page of this thread! Thank you for the update, I am glad it's working for you now. 

    We are actually still investigating other reports of this error, so I will reach out to a few users to see if it is fixed for them as well and update our report with this news.

  • And it is back after working 1 week ago. I do not think I changed anything....

    I uploaded a diagnostics report 1 week ago and today again. Hopefully that will show something different ....

  • I had an issue where a pin number was not required, which was quite worrying. I deleted and reinstalled the card, which sorted out my issue, so maybe delete the card.

  • Weird issues here as well...

    2 days ago entering the pin on the watch was not accepted (invalid pin, x tries remaining). When changing the pin on the phone in connect I can change it (using the same pin as the original and again same to change it to... so in the end it stays the same). After that it also works on the watch again.

    Now, 2 days later, same issue. Pin not accepted on watch, change on phone, working again (took the watch of right away, had to enter pin again and was accepted). But no clue how long it will work, will try tomorrow again.

    This was after already removing and re-adding the pass 2 days ago

  • Pls reach out. I cannot get the error code to disappear. Have removed and added my card, several times now. Frustrated that I can’t get wallet to work. My card is an approved Garmin card
