Wifi not found with WPA2 + WPA3 ON

Hey!

I have the following problem on all my forerunner (955 + 265) watches in combinations with my FritzBox 7490 (same on a no name router of a friend):

When I try to connect to my Wifi, the SSID is not found at all. Others are, but not mine, although I'm just next to the router. WPA-mode on my FritzBox is set to "WPA2 + WPA3".

Once I set the WPA-Mode to "WPA + WPA2" the SSID is found on my Forerunners and I can connect to it.

However, I would like to keep it on "WPA2 + WPA3" as I have many devices already that can use WPA 3.

Is it normal that Garmin devices cannot find the Wifi-SSID at all if "WPA2 + WPA3" is on?? I guess they're not supporting WPA3, but I expected them to just use WPA2...

Curious if I'm the only one running in that same issue...

HI, I do have a Fritzbox on WPA2 + WPA3 an my 955 can sync over Wifi and can not remember any problems finding it but I may have entered the SSID (like you need to do if its a hidden Wlan).

latest version on both watches + latest firmware on my Fritzbox. Manually adding the network doesnt work as well...only if I change to WPA + WPA2.

Let's guess: you are not using any of the new 15.xx betas? Because there was a WPA3 bug in some of them, but it is already fixed.

Sorry, don’t have my 955 around as I’m not home. My 265 is running on 3.58.

no beta on any device

I am on 14.20 no Beta. But connected to the Network on earlier Version.

Just bought a Garmin edge 1040. Have upgraded firmware. Can confirm it won’t work with WPA3+WPA2 security. If I drop back to WPA2 my SSID is seen.

Same thing with 840, only works when router is WPA2

This is simply a shame. A relatively new device does not support such security features - HALO GARMIN!!!
