While the big brands are now doing running power, it is still made up in the sense that there is no agreed upon way to calculate it.
Cycling power is agreed up as it is directly measurable using power meters to read how much energy is being generated by the pedaling.
Running power is a guess based on what the sensors are reading based on the running impact. You can get different results using different devices.
