Please fix the GPS tracking inaccuracy in water sports after the updates around September (GPS 2.35 version was the last good one). 

It affects both 955 and Fenix7 / Epix2 line.

But what new bugs will be introduced is the question.

That would be sensible advice were it not for the fact that long-standing bugs still exist in production firmware after so many updates.

Do Garmin spend budget fixing existing usability bugs in production firmware, or on developing lots of new features and de-prioritising bugs? Because it seems like the latter to me at the moment.

I can understand bugs being present in production firmware. But not when they've been in that firmware for months, after quite a few beta releases that didn't address them.

Aren't we all doing alpha testing anyway?

I can remember a number of years ago it certainly felt like this, when they had no beta or alpha channel. And then the quality of releases improved considerably for a few years. But now bugs have come back.
