And again with the new firmware battery drain is back...
I went to sleep with more than 70% and woke up at 16%.
Not good... We can't have this kind of problem on a device that is on the market for a year

I don't think it depend on the activity history, for a few releases I didn't have any problem, now is back
and again this night... It's impossible, we bought a sportwatch that was advertised to stay on for 15+ days or even 2-3 days while recording a track, instead we have a device that we don't know if it will be on or off when we wake up...

Today I changed a few settings in my 955 via the GC interface. Now, two or three hours later, the FR955 battery has lost 20%, normal would be 2%.
i'm not part of the Beta program - i quit that program 3 months ago as the beta was so bad i immediately dropped back out, unfortunately had to 'stick with it" for 2 months before the public caugt up. I'm now on the public 14.20 and this morning noticed a battery loss of 40% overnight, so I assume this issue has not been fixed? Over the time i wrote this reply i lost another 2%...
I had the edge 705 for 10 years, very happy with it, no issue whatsoever, so keeping with garmin was a no brainer, but oh boy, my last 6 month of forerunner experience make it seem as if this is a completely differnent company from back then. maybe they should have a option where you can choose to run 2 versions behind on the lastest public :-)
