And again with the new firmware battery drain is back...
I went to sleep with more than 70% and woke up at 16%.
Not good... We can't have this kind of problem on a device that is on the market for a year

I am sick of it. Stupid watch and me to for buying this half finished product. Got the same battery life with activity as 3 years old Polar...20 days solar - Marketing gimmicks and I must write liars. Every freaking firmware since the release has unexpected battery drain.
Went for a run, finished 3 hours ago, GPS Auto select, H10 strap. Finished with 45% (from 49% in about an hour). Synced, turned off phone sync (also phone BT OFF), airplane mode on...just looked at the watch - 38%. Lost 7% in 3 hours. After every activity I have to turn it off now. Stupid.
Tested earphones and BT last week on fw 14.20 for 10 minutes...turned everything off...looked later the watch...battery drained. Used the same earphones yesterday for 20-30 minutes during the run, synced, airplane mode and sync off - no battery drain. Today with no earphones - battery drains.
I have the exact same problem. I go to bed with more than 30%, and watch is dead when I wake up in the morning. No PulseOx, watch is in Airplane mode. That is nonsense. And it happened to me many times. I cannot rely on it. I never had so many issues with my 945.
I have just contacted Garmin support in my country (EU) about the possibilities - returning the watch or them to fix the issue/bugs. I bought it in another EU country as soon as it was available (not directly from Garmin because of the waiting period). This bug is here 9 months, it was "fixed" in one of the previous firmwares from the change log, but it continues to happen.
So frustrating. Maybe it doesn't like airplane mode and drains faster because of it.
Same. Charged the watch on Wednesday before midnight. Now it’s Friday noon - 10% battery left.
That's bad if you didn't have activity recorded during that whole period.:) I guess Pulse Ox is on demand. It is mind blowing that it still haven't been solved...I could have sent them new logs(if that helps at all in this case), but support from my country asked for a watch.
I started using my new FR955 with v.14.20 two days ago, and so far I have a nightly battery drain of approx. 5-7% with PulseOx activated during sleep. It must be a hardware problem or a communication problem via Bluetooth and/or Wifi that drains the battery so much, in my opinion...
try to delete all the activities recorded on the watch, when connected to the computer. I had that for two-3 months and then it went away without any reset or update, there was a broken activity or sometginf and it could not get through the BT conenction nor over cable and it drained my battery in less than 2 days. Garmin didnt solve s h i t.
