Update 14.13 has ruined my new watch

the new update (14.13) for the forerunner 955 has ruined my watch. here are the list of new 'features and bug fixes' that really regret me updating my watch:

1. removing the white background on notifications and replacing it with the harder to read black background

2. terrible battery life (15-20% on one day with just normal usage)

3. slow and unresponsive touch and buttons

4. re-designed the stop watch and timer button with the harder to black background

5. all emoji's removed

6. haptic sometimes works on notifications

I really don't know what it is with this update because no one else has posted about this?! is it an issues with just my watch or anyone else experiencing the same issues.

is there a way to downgrade back to the older update I was on, or can Garmin please fix these issues

let me know in the comments if anyone else is experiencing the same issues

Thanks

  • Battery life is a crap in my case on 14.13. Earlier there used to be a day in charge period when it would drain battery higher. Used to loose about 6% a day, now I loose almost twice as much. Tried 3 times to turn it off and on by holding light button. Now I realize how good (and properly functioning) my Polar was. No updates, no new functions but it works as described.Have almost same battery life now as with the Grit X...if only OHR doesn't drain the watch like crazy on that one during the sleep...but getting better sleep data than with Garmin.
