Update problems - after firmware update heart rate and other issues

After the latest update I have had so many problems:

Heart rate works intermittently, sleep stats do not work, steps are innacurate.... etc

I have done multiple resets and the problems won't go away, anyone else having these problems and know a solution?

  • Nope not currently

  • 14.13 is now out try that one

  • Yes since the last update I have the same problems. Heart rate only works on a workout

  • Sms here, in rest or sleep no heart rate monitor. Only works in a workout

  • Mine is fine, HR , Sleep data , had no issues to mention as yet

  • Update on my former reply:

The FR955 Solar I bought January 5th is going back to store. As the problem started last Saturday with no heart rate during rest/sleep, now the heart rate during activity is 70-73. No matter what activity. I cycled today 3 km to the gym with windforce 7Bft ahead. Heart rate stays steady on 72. I walked today 2 x 1,5km, steps counted 435. When using my old FR235 my VO2max on running was steady on 54. With the FR955 it goes down after each run. Could be because of more parameters but I’m not sure now after all this issues showing up. Since today battery draining so fast. Was full yesterday evening, didn’t use it for activity and before I went to the gym it was down to 38%. For me it was a waste of (a lot of) money for a high end sports watch and not worth to wear the name Garmin. Only thing it’s useful for now is the time, well I might hope that’s not messed up either. I hope my FR955 is the one and only bad product. If the store replace the FR955 solar for a new one I give it another try. For the time being I gonna wear my old always working FR235

Garmin helpdesk was very helpful and they replied fast on my message. The problems I experienced were sent to software team as we recognized it has nothing to do with the settings.

  • Unfortunately not (at this stage)
