So I can't find a thread with a bug list for the 13.22.
I don't know if that is something they usually do or not, but I'm a bit confused about whether it's safe or not.....good idea or not?

After the upgrade to 13.22, the touch screen will fail once a day (cannot be touched), recovers immediately after restart the watch.
I always update my watch connecting it with my Mac via Garmin Express and I never had any problems with my watch (I run 5-6 times/week and Strenght 2x/week). I already used Bike Inddor once with no problem…
I have now tried another run without HRM ot runpod, but with music and headphones connected. Heart rate is recorded correct, but time in heart rate zones is faulty, training load and stamina incorrect.
So it seems like as soon as you connect something to the watch it totally f-cks up the recorded metrics.
as far as my experience goes, 13.21 and 13.22 are both bug ridden and 13.22 should have been pulled by garmin just as 13.21 was. or better yet, they could have actually tested before releasing either.
i wish i'd turned off auto-update so i didn't get 13.21. having encountered issues with that, i discovered that it was known to be a problem and since garmin hadn't seen fit to push the supposed fix of 13.22 to people on 13.21 i manually updated to 13.22 and if anything things got worse from there.
honestly, after the index s2 scam and now this, i think its time i ditched garmin completely
the 3 issues i'm seeing are
the one bug supposedly fixed in this version that i had been encountering was "Fixes an issue where a horizontal dashed line could appear on training pages during an activity" - i have seen this issue since the update, though that was outside of an activity which i had not previously seen.
if i'm actively noticing 3 issues, 2 of which i consider major issues, then i can only assume there are plenty more that i'm not noticing but may well be being affected by and others may actively notice.
prior to the update i had thought the watch was finally settling into a reasonably stable working state after many earlier issues
So far I have not seen any showstopping bugs on my watch. I got it a couple of weeks ago and have only used it on 13.21 and 13.22. I pair my watch with an Android phone and I primarily use my watch for running, biking, and strength training. I have not paired my watch with any external sensors other than a Polar HRM. I've done a handful of outdoor runs with SatIQ GPS tracking, both tracks and elevation are good.
Battery life I've been pretty happy with so far. First 7 days of use I actually drained my watch about 80% but I think this was due to a combination of messing with the watch a lot as well as using a non-stock watch face. Since then I've switched to a stock digital watch face, and after 7 more days of use I've gone through only 50% (which is better than Garmin's estimate given that in that time period I also did about 3 hours of SatIQ GPS tracking and 6 hours of indoor activity tracking).
