When is a new beta coming out?

Maybe they planned to release it last week but there were too many loose ends.. ? Because DC Rainmaker mentioned something about expecting it withing a week/2weeks, a couple weeks back. But perhaps that was before the forerunner 955 team came across some hiccups .. just speculating here ... It's annoying but also on the bright side perhaps it better we get a more stable beta than something that breaks our 955

This is one of the crazy things about the whole Garmin Forerunner / Fenix line up compared to others - there shouldn't be any need for different teams, developing different variants of firmware / software. Why is there different watch faces, weather apps, different workout summary screens! (madness!)

I presume they share the same basic hardware inside, same sensors, screens, etc - there should be ONE Garmin OS across all the devices, with features, functions turned on/off depending on hardware restraints per device.

Maybe the next update will go through proper quality control and fix all of the open issues? While also jntroducing things like running power from the wrist, GAP, ... One can hope that this is the reason why it takes so long

Yup. The standard fenix 7 line dial is much better. Because those pointers on the 955, nothing to do. Garmin takes it off.

One can only hope, not betting a single dollar on it though...Nice to have dreams though.

Me neither. Betas usually come out on Thursdays. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
