Just bought the forerunner 955 today. Watch crashes everytime I use the map and try to navigate to a chosen point. Do any of you have the same problem. This is not okay for a €550 Watch.

Been the case since release and had been reported many times but somehow still not fixed, extremely annoying indeed. (But the mentioned workaround works at least)
There is a workaround for the bug. Select a point a little to the side of where you want to navigate to, which avoids paths, roads, or other points of interest.
Thanks. Would like to know what priority this has at Garmin as the Forerunner is useless in navigation from the release date I bought the watch. For me it never worked. Can only do courses. As the watch is sold to let users navigate it's a shame this function doesn't work. I never buy a watch again from so close to the release date as it's full of bugs.
